Now what? It announces that you need to move all of your flights into the terminal. Well, how do I do that? The only difference I can see from spending all this money is that I have a little dot that says I own a terminal on the Gates page.
WT heck?
So, I built myself a Terminal

Basically the only purpose of a terminal is to allow you to have as many gates available to you as you build that won't be returned after the following round. If you build say 40 gates, you will have those gates for the whole game, they won't be returned. All the gates you once had would then be returned and anyone can lease them.

When u get a terminal, the advantages are:
1. More space to expand
2. Reduced leasing costs (Maximum discount on the leasing cost is 65% with 33 gates). So paying practically pennies compared to what u paid beforehand.
Obviously, the disadvantage is the competition can grow a bit more too...

can you sell slots, it seems crazy that you can have maybe 2 flights into an airport yet have 3 slots available that you prob wont use

I don't think so. Once you have the terminal and gates, they're there for good.
