Today Metroline Airways handed over the notice of leave to the GoldenSKY Alliance team.

"It has been a great time here at GoldenSKY for Metroline Airways, I feel that the airline has grown in the time it has been here but eventually an airline in an alliance can only grow as much as the alliance is growing, and the GoldenSKY Alliance is not growing as much as we would have hoped." Said CEO Alex Stankevitch.

We understand that Metroline has recieved offers from ACE, FWUA and 3RA but eventually decieded on a temporary position at. FWUA

Actually 3RA is better, but we didn't want him as there are too many members in Europe

Metroline Rule The Runway

Today Metroline Airways revealed the offical figures for the end 2006 round currently in progress. This is current changing data but as of 1:15am, 28th December 2006, it is correct:


Metroline Airways currently operates 152 flights in and around the United Kingdom. 146 of which depart or arrive at London Stansted.
Daily Operating Profit is now at over $1,500,000 and rising.
Fleet stands at 12, 11 of which are ATRs and we also have a single Saab 2000.
Total Net Profit for Year 1 (AE) was a staggering $140,561,677.
47% of all operations at London Stansted are conducted by Metroline Airways.


Metroline Airways would also like to announce its new office system is an AMD Athlon64 X2 5200+ with a XpertVision nVidia GeForce 7950GT 512Mb. This system is powered by a Thermaltake Toughpower 600W PSU.

There is also an ATR 42 being painted into Metroline livery but due to the new system this has been set back
