Please make it possible to invest in advertising and marketing. This should make the ticket sales rise.

Could be a good idea, but may complicate the LF even more and help the largest airlines to monopolize on every route. For instance I am all for closing up open skies. keeps competition smaller and keeps the game more interesting. One idea I had was like either being able to buy rights for inter-continental routes earlier or waiting until year 5 or something when all routes become available. This is just an idea, tell me what you think.

This has been suggested (in addition to adding real life restrictions to airports like DCA and LGA), however Miller's vision for the game was one of a truly open market. I'd certainly like see that function, but at the end of the day its not something he's expressed an interest in, and there are plenty of things he daoes wnat done that still need doing.

As far as marketing goes, I'd probably lump it in with diffrent service levels as functions that don't actauly add much to game play. You spend more money- you make more money. There really isn't all that much stategy to it. I know its implemented in most other sims I've seen, but at the end of the day in any of them there is a point of deminishing returns- find it and you're set. Its not really stretegy, just math.

I hope none of that sounded harsh or anything, just adding my (ciritcal) 2 cents. Many of the functions and features of the game were user suggested, so keep 'em coming.

I see where the first tow are dcoming from but I agree with the MOD. Wouldn't work, way it is now is a lot fairer

it would be fun with this function.. but it would also make large airlines and small airlines further apart.

Its all about start times really...you kickoff in the beginning with a sound strate...your fine. You start late...unless you are like ole Volvo Air...you are doomed.
