Sorry if this had been said. i searched and found nothing... I though maybe as starter planes we could have a few more like EMB120 and SAAB 340 also for options as first aircraft. What do you think?

Makes the game too easy.

All these people have done fine with J-31s and B1900s (and frankly, I only started in YEAR FOUR with B1900s, I'm not doing THAT badly...)

Yes been many time in the forum, but not the point, to answer the issue:

With the 2 either B19's or J31, you can make a good return if you start in the right location and have short hop to another, many times a DOP of around 300k Plus can be acheived with ease. So it is not long till you have the funds to buy 2 New aircraft. This game from day one has had the same AC, one would think this will never change, Remember, it is a challange, to show others if you can make an EMPIRE not be handed an Empire on a silver platter

TW has said that in V3, you won't have a specified starter a/c, in order to get an a/c, you will have to take out a loan

Well, I guess it makes the game more challenging, and cuts down on cheaters...

Does anyone know if our startup cash will be the same in V3, or different?

I used to play Transport Tycoon too. I liked it so much at the time. Aircraft didn't make much money. I liked trian better and more things to play with too.

Yeh buying a share of other airlines would be a great feature

Ehhh, I would prefer route authorities over that. An airline could snap up long haul routes and annoy the heck out of those that can afford the aircraft to fly them.
