Hi,

Quite a long time not played AE, it seems my knowledge faded

As SAS, can i launch flights from outside of the base country (Sweden)?

Now playing in R1. It said i cant launch from ie.OSL because of political restrictions.

Building a HUB or terminal there could help?

There are multiple Open Skies agreements in both RL and AE.

 

The EU-US Open Skies agreement does not exist in AE, however the EU agreement that grants 7th freedom rights within the region to EU-based airlines does.

So, there should be a rule for Scandinavia which allows this waaay before 2000
