Only a matter of time before some one figured this out.
SFO-SAC
$1 route and $200,$300,$400,$500 routes. All aimed at playing the LF bug.
I don't mind $1 routes as a tactical move; but this is not about being aggresive, it is only about manipulating a bug.

SFO-SAC. The distance is short so it won't make much of a difference. You are already limited by what LF you will get because of the distance involved.

Short or long he/she is still exploiting the LF bug and trying to force it. The ethics of the situation don't change.
And there is no reason the same tactics can't be used on every single route in AE, so don't dismiss it as too small to care about.

not true. nobody has left the route and therefore i have not made a penny off of it
edit: and even if i did, i've been constantly adding more aircraft, which would reset the bug anyway.
edit 2: i'm actually losing quite a bit per hour off of my hogged gates (about 1 million DOP)

so, it's more like 400k i'm losing. add in the gate costs, though and it's a lot more and if you think that photo is doctored, check the airport rankings at SFO. If I had 100% load on all those flights you'd know immediately since i'd have like 30% marketshare.

:eureka: So, that's how you hog gates...
That's how you do it. No gates for the competition unless someone decides to give up and leave SFO.

Also, i will like to mention on this especially, is that after u go beyond a certain point of capacity on a route, it wont go 100% even if someone left.
I used to fly MAD-ALC 150x, this was a couple of rounds ago, and most people left, yet i was still making losses on all the beeches flying the route. I never once got any benefit from the LF bug nor did i want to. And it doesnt matter if u priced them at $1 or $1000, it will never go to 100%.

So let me get this straight, 114 round trips to hog 23 gates at each airport is just fine, but buying and selling aircraft gets you a fine. Very logical.

I already secured myself 7 gates at SFO going SFO-SJC that I'll use and the 5-6 I don't, I will sell off to people who want them later.

Well he isn't cursing anyone out....albeit it lowers his level of argument, but that's how angry he is...let him have at it.

why am i a moron when there are people who take the easy way out and don't bite the profits by starting multiple airlines from separate IPs and never get caught? I'm making a cost-benefit judgment call by taking all the gates. it might work out in my favor but even if it does i'm risking some retard creating multiple accounts and ruining my plans. so don't act like i'm a jerk or cheating.
