On behalf of myself and everyone here at Atlas, we'd like to thank you for your interest in our alliance. Below is general information regarding the application process, requirements, and conduct. We thank you for your time in reading this.

 

Application Requirements

• A minimum of 4 months' time between first post on the gallery and time of applying.
• Participation within the AE gallery and forum.
• While prior alliance experience is not required, it is highly encouraged.
• We prefer all applicants have liveries from at least two different time periods posted to the gallery before they apply

Alliance Expectations

 

Members of Atlas are expected to participate within alliance functions. Functions like this include:

• Voting Proceedings 
• Alliance Events
• General Discussion
• Participation on the AE Gallery
• In-game participation

A full list of rules and expectations will be given upon the approval of an application.

 

Country Limit

 

Atlas operates under a strict one brand per nation cap with the exception of Russia and China - which can both accommodate two airlines at once - and the United States - which can host three airlines simultaneously. Defunct carriers do not count towards this count after the date of their bankruptcy. In practice, this means that no airline based in the United Kingdom can enter Atlas before the bankruptcy of Midlands East in 2008. Further, no brand based in Hong Kong will be admitted to the alliance because of the consistent presence of Canton. Applications which would violate this cap will be automatically declined. If you have questions about which nations are available, please send one of us a personal message.

 

Application Denial

 

In the case of a denied application, there is technically no cooldown before you can apply again. Although this is the case, it is highly encouraged that improvement is made before reapplying again; it is at the discretion of you to decide when you're ready to reapply. Denied applications will be removed within 30 days.

 

Addition of Secondary Brands

 

A secondary brand is an airline that is in Atlas in addition to the one you originally applied with. All secondary brands will undergo an internal vote in Atlas and need not be posted in the applications thread on Atlas' AE subforum, but instead in the Atlas Discord server for review.

 

Readmission of Prior Members

 

Prior members of Atlas Alliance seeking to rejoin are required to go through the application process again, requiring a new application to be posted on the Atlas AE subforum.

 

Application Grading

 

Unlike other alliances, Atlas' voting works off a grading/rubric system. Members fill out the rubric shown below and determine their vote based on a given application's score on said rubric. A score of 18 or high necessitates a yes vote. A score lower than 18 is a no vote. As the rubric is filled out individually, scores from person to person may vary.
