it's almost impossible for me to obtain the gates i want anymore since the time of the month change is 2AM GMT! i have to be up for 7AM and i cant stay up so late or else i suffer from migraines if i get little sleep, any chance of changing it to a bit earlier?

All your asking for here, is a bunch of people who like it to jump in and hammer you. There are probably an equal number of people, who it is a HUGE inconvience for, than there is that it is convient for.

Im afraid ur going to have to accept it with a grain of salt.

Before this current month change, others were affected, including myself with the previous time of the month change and most of us dealt with it accordingly. This issue always arises and im afraid, there is going to be winners and loses, all the time.

3 words: suck it up. This time is better for me, if it aint for you, oh well, I cant help you there. Only things you can do are one: move to a place that coincides with the month change of your convenience, two: stay up late and find a way to cope with the sleep deprivation, three: hope it messes up again and the month changes to your convience.

Word on the street is that the month change will be a rolling time in V3. Equal opportunity for everybody to get a decent hour now and again... Unfortunately, it'll require some math, an area I'm not so good at

They could do it now. By either extending(my preference) or shortening the simulated month, you would cause a 'rolling' month end.

I'm still a big fan of the 30 hour month, rotates the month change by six hours each time.

In the UK we had it good for a while when the change was at 6am local time. Now its someone elses chance to have it good. Dont dispair though as Most European players though are in our (GMT) time zone so gates are still available of a morning when I check at about 6.30am. I think the problem your having is that most Airports in North American and Europe are at 100% alredy so we have to rely on people releasing gates and it just is not happening at the monemt. At 6.30 this morning their were gates free at Oslo and London Heathrow amongst others, its just pot-luck when they come free.

I know that doesn't comfort you, but while it was at 5am (which was ok, but far from ideal) for me before this change, it's now at 2pm which is just ideal.... I love it!

I've picked up several decent gates in North America over the last few days even 2-3 hours after the month change. So it is possible to get them at times other than the immediate change.

I'm not posting this to look for an argument, all i'm saying is maybe consider moving it back a couple of hours i could cope with 12AM GMT every now and then, or even consider a 30hour month as said before (seems like a good idea). And as for

I have said if i don't get enough sleep i suffer from migraines, maybe you don't, but i do and they are extremely unpleasant and i would rather give up this game than have them!

Unless TW feels inclined to change the time of day when the AE month change happens (or it slips due to database issues), then you'll just have to live with it like everyone else. :sniff:

I guess people jsut need to adapt and work to the best of their ability.

737MMA is correct in saying that time will travel at a different rate than it currently does which means that date change will come at varying hours throughout the day.

its not a case of not accepting it at all! its more of a case of trying to alter it slightly to make it better for others, but keeping it reasonable for everybody else.

That is basically impossible cause as you move away from one hour to another....another person has a better chance, and another person loses his/her chance. Fact of life. Consider yourself lucky you had a good chance before and people like me didn't. Now I have an opportunity.....and it sadly doesn't for you. Put up with it, and just simply wait it out. Cause you know something else is gonna have to happen and change the month soon enough.

have a few hours sleep early in the evening, and set your alarm just before the month changes. spend 20-30 mins on the game, then go back to sleep. I get migraines too, and they're not pleasant at all.. i pass out after throwing up, so mine might be a worse case... what i'm saying is i understand how you feel. However, you can't really change the game to suit your need/predicament. the month change was favourable to me before, not anymore now, but i think of other ways to beat the system.

If you really have to be online during the month change, then follow my advice above (or other suggestions/choices). That way, you get your needed sleep and be able to baby sit your airline!!
