I just leased a used aircraft.  It shows up in my listing of fleet aircraft as having 140 hours available.  This aircraft has a range of 846 miles.  It's currently in an idle status so it hasn't been assigned to any of my departure points yet.  When I opened a new route of 610 miles and went to add flights and called up available aircraft for the route, this "new" aircraft doesn't show up.  Is there some sort of wait period necessary before I can utilize this aircraft?  This is more than a bit confusing to me.

The runway is too short at one of the airports.

Also, Love Field has some restrictions on flights departing and arriving:

Routes from DAL are limited to serving airports located in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. However, flights using aircraft with 56 or fewer seats (maximum certified capacity) are exempt from this restriction. You cannot configure aircraft that could potentially have more seats, such as a 737-800 with a maximum of 189 seats, with 56 seats in order to avoid this restriction.

This restriction does not apply on or after October 13, 2014 (game time).

None of the above.

I just up a flight from Meacham field (FTW) to OKC (distance 178 miles).  Runway lengths are 7,501 and 9,802 respectively.  Aircraft in question is an F-28 MK1000 with a range of 846 miles and a min runway length of 5,610.  Total hours available = 140.  When I call up available aircraft, all I get in an Avro that I have in the hangar.  This is very perplexing, and costing me $$.

Set me up on shared control and I’ll try to fix it for you.

It's happened to four aircraft recently. It's an on-going issue. They do eventually show up--as in up to 1-2 game years later. In fact, one I purchased a few days ago is now available as of this morning. They don't count against your utilization until they "appear".

Done and done PingPong. Hope you can help me figure out the deal. You'll see the 2 a/c with the most hours. They're the ones I'm having an issue with. Both recent leases off the used market.
Thanks.

Simple issue. In the add flights dialogue, you had the “show <type> aircraft with <hours> hours or more” search setup set to only show BAe 146-200 aircraft. I’ve changed it back. You can take me off shared if you like and you shouldn’t have an issue adding flights now.

Thanks for the help.  I think I understand the restrictions enough now to (hopefully) salvage my airline.
