Is it more profitable to have all-economy aircraft, or should I add a business class or first class?

It's usually more profitable to go all economy, though giving an aircraft a business and/or a first class does have its perks.

For spamliners, use F/C/Y on all aircraft. Use a optimal config.

What are the potential benefits of adding a first class or business class?

More market share thats for sure. I once had an airline with a huge hub in DFW with like 600+ departures and like 180 destinations and there was another airline I competed with who also had a big hub there with like 100 less frequencies than me but they had a market share that was almost 10% higher than mine and on most routes they had the largest share by a big margin even though I had more seats and flights then they did but I realized they were pulling in more share than me because they had 3 classes where as I was running all economy for domestic routes. They were beating me even when I had double the Y pax they had. Those extra classes really did make a difference.

Although, market share doesn't really matter if you're still making profit but it's rather important to me so I take note of these things.
