Hello, I have this airline in S4E, and all I really want is some useful tips for expansion. Yes, this is my first successful airline.

The shorter routes make more money, Generally, but demand will fill up really fast. Try to avoid really long haul flights (>6000nm) because they loose profit fast. Also, be smart about your gate usage. If a gate costs a lot, try and use as much of it as possible. Use the "Search Airports" function to find airports with remaining gates, and fly to those. Utilize the small airports.

Good luck on your venture!

Cheers

Only buy a few fleet types and have many airplanes for each. Maintenance can be very costly.

Don't buy overlapping airplanes, in your case A320s and 737s.

Maybe start some shorter routes (within 2000 miles of CPH) instead of going onto less profitable long-haul transatlantic flights.

Altogether a good enough first attempt, you'll learn in time. If you ever have any questions, send me a PM.

Dump your random 737s since you have many more A320s.

Retire the 737s and the ATR-72. Focus on one main fleet family.

Keep ordering A32Xs and fly to every single tiny airport in Europe with a demand of at least 126 Y pax a week (the size of your A319).
