just a minute ago. i had sold my first batch of aircraft to market. the aircraft ID numbers are 44, 513,514,

515 and 5430.....    i am wondering ?  the first 4 aircraft says they were 7 years old. but aircraft number

5430 said it is 10 years old.... so again, I am wondering how planes age? cause 3 years is a huge gap.

I am assuming one was a starting aircraft and another is a used one you had brought originally? Starting aircraft, I think, always are 3 years old to at the beginning.

What RJM said, is likely the answer.

Also, aircraft are assigned their ID number when delivered, and not when ordered.

So you can receive aircraft ordered in the 60's, 40 years later, and they will be numbered after the more modern ones.
