When you build a terminal, are the gates you build protected from the monthly audit or can you still lose them?

Uhm, I think they won't be lost, after all, they are gates you built in your terminal...

Wrong - Quicktime....
Terminal is what you build, your gates become a terminal and if you only use 1% of it you will NEVER lose any slots, plus the terminal converts from gates into slots, not called a gate anymore.

I also have another question regarding terminals. If I purchase one, does that move my current gates into the terminal? Or do I just get the equivalent of what I have and then the market gates get released to others?
