ive been browsing through the rankings and for quite a few airlines above me in the ranking but they have no aircraft, cites, routes or anything so how can that work and they have a higher valuation despite the fact they have nothing.
1 example i found was Braniff Interntational Airlines will find a link later on. Ranking around 600

They have probably sold all their fleets and have cash left over from it keeping their value up.

Have nothing? They may have money. If they sold everything, closed all routes, returned all gates, they have no expenses so their cash level does not get any lower. Value is cash + assets. Cash $24,062,642 and assets $0 is enough for position 595. Player 6400 for instance has three beeches (about $17,000,000) and a total value of $22,000,000 so will have $5,000,000 cash. With such stupid prices thus almost no earnings, player 6400 will stay below position 595 for a long time eventhough it has income and assets.
