Yeah, that's how you win, a lot of planes. You can't expect to get to #1 with 10 planes. And all that clicking is hard work.

Standard strategy: (i use this)

- Buy Aircraft

-meet demand on routes with suitable planes

-lower prices of fares if route has been contested

 

"Realistic" strategy:

-Buy aircraft that are well known in the real world, or your favorite aircraft, even if performance is not as great.

- fill any gap in the demand of routes, and avoid routes with over-demand market

- pull out of routes that are being contested

 

"spam" strategy:

-Buy most cost-effective aircraft, in large numbers

-Flood routes with any plane, increasing the demand and eliminating competition

-If route is contested,drastically decrease prices of your routes, so your competition resigns. Than raise your prices again to average

 

Smart strategy:

-Buy cost effective aircraft, with low fuel consumption

-Market a fraction of the route with most reasonable aircraft, drastically increasing prices.

 If route is contested, lower price a fraction below competition, monitor carefully
