So I started an airline out of Stockholm Arlanda and once all the gates were used up there in the mean time I started flights out of Oslo. I tried to go to Lebanon from Oslo but it said that I could not because of political restrictions. So then I tried to JFK and still no so I am guessing that I can not fly to another Country outside of Europe when I am flying out of Oslo. I am a bit stumped since I am in 'Realistic World' and Scandanavian Airlines flies out of Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen all to Countries in and outside of Europe. Can someone please help me.

Well you chose a bad airline to copy, SAS is a pretty special airline in that it was formed by a consortium of three airlines, the flag carriers of Norway, Denmark and Sweden. So SAS is neither Danish, Norwegian or Swedish but in fact all three. The operation had taken place by 1951 since when most bilateral aviation agreements took place and the airline grew as the government sponsored and flag carrier for the three countries.

 

Also look up Gulf Air.

no sorry I was just using SAS as an example. For example another airline that does that is Ryanair. Ryanair has hubs in Dublin and Stanstead. You couldn't do that in Airline Empires right? Or am I wrong lol

But Ryanair flies only inside Europe, and after the european airline deregulation act, any european airline can fly from any airport to any airport inside Europe
