Hi there,
It's happened to me twice now that despite my AC still having free hours I was told I had no AC available to create a new route. Can anyone explain to me why that happens? I'm happy to supply more details if that helps.

Try going to the aircraft, and where is says (Place this aircraft on a new route) go that way. and select your gates etc. ok.
