I have a B1900 that has 9 hrs available and i would like to do a flight from LAX-Tijuana (128 nm) however when i click the route it says that i have no aircraft with enough hours. So i uncheck the box marked "round trip" and i still cant fly the flight. How can i not fly 128 miles and back in 9 hrs?

go to aircraft selection
click on the aircraft you would like to fly the route on
at the bottom, press "place this aircraft on a new route"
and do the route
see if that works

Go in through the aircraft and set up the route that way. That should work. The Market Research has some known bugs to it.
