On the server I'm playing there is one player that already has 64 aircraft +155 on order after only 6 months game time (2-3 days real life).

Now my question is how is this possible ?

Does anyone have a clue ?

3 other airlines have just reached around 20 aircraft and this guy is already over 60 ...

Grtz,

As you take out bonds, your credit rating drops significantly. This in turn causes you to be limited in number of aircraft you can lease.
At the start I took bonds for a total of 11M$ and currently have a CCC+ rating, limiting me to 25 leases. So while it is possible that player took out loads of bonds, there has to be something else to it. Because with those bonds, he wouldn't be able to have 64 aircraft now.

I often wonder how it's done, too.  Haven't been able to figure it out myself.  If anyone can shine a light, I would appreciate it!

Lots of pepole watch the used market for planes when pepole go bankrupt or quit

The person has probably leased multiple different aircraft at the start so. The person will get them quicker.

And another way they could have got lots of aircraft. Is at start when your waiting for the world to start you lease 1 of different aircraft and will the world hasn't started the leased aircraft come in as soon as the world starts.

Talk to me again in a about a month (or 7-8 game years), we'll see about my strategy then ! I usually dont get into the top 100 during the first 5 game years, but once I do, I get straight into the top 10.

Although the used market is possible, I personally doubt that's how he got the planes. I've been keeping an eye on it too and have only seen 3-4 aircraft thusfar.

Look at the aircraft that are most numerous; there's your first clue. On start up, you can probably afford an A320, MD-81 & B737-400 with little or no bonds. Within the first few days of operation, the starting plane, if deployed smartly, will make enough to lease an ATR72, & an ATP a few days after that, & then another ATR a few days later, & so on. Also, put in a repeat order for another of each of the jets before they arrive. Once they do, you can be making $1m a day. With ATRs & ATPs coming every week (game time), the daily profit increases & you start ordering other planes. It's ballsy stuff but it can be done.

It's not TNT, my airline :D

Follow advice I gave around this forum and you might just do the same.

By the way, no bonds, and no crashing employee salaries, no used market yet, if you wonder.
