How about having the option to loan money (from a "bank") So it would be easier to buy/lease aircraft when a game is just beginning. ;)

Yeah, we need 100 million dollars loan.


That technically would not work as when you get loans the amount of aircraft you can buy/lease drops due to having to pay off the loan so with a big loan you would just be paying back 100mil that you can't even use

No. If you take a bond of 100 millions, you would able to leased at least 40 aircrafts.

Everytime I start a new airline and get a loan or get a loan during a game it only,allows me to lease 10 aircraft then I have to wait until I all my leased aircraft have come in until I can lease more. So meaning with big loans it just would'nt work having to wait for ages to get more planes and having a 100 mil just sit or even go into debt and then,only allowing us to lease like 5 aircraft a month. Then waiting for like 4 years until you have payed off that 100 mil. You may have not payed it off due to going into so much debt from paying like 1-2.5mil a month to pay off the 100 mil.then you in so much debt you can't lease anymore airplanesthus meaning you bankrupt your airline then restart.which meaning it would be hard to start a profitable airline when it is already 6 years in and only like 15 years left then other airlines taking over your airline easily as you don't have as much money to gamble or not big enough planes. Or you just join another world and have problem all over agian

That's my point. It would allow you to leased 40 aircrafts.

I don't think it would make sense to have 100 mil. loans the beginning.

 

Maybe when your company is big enough, but it would make no economical sense in giving such an amount of money to a company that hasn't proven it knows what it's doing and showed it could survive and return loan.

I agree with Konj. There is nothing viable in a creditor giving a fledgling airline such a large loan. It would not be done irl. Honestly a 5 mil loan given the starting position of an AE airline is pushing it.  Now a typical AE spamilne several years into the game irl could take astronomically large loans for a private institution. I think the amount you can take out as a loan should be dependent on the fiscal strength of your airline.
