Although to be fair, R1 is probably one of the hardest worlds  to succeed in because of people running hundreds of turboprops. Sure, they're making more money, but those planes also make it loleasy to make money. Really they're eliminating any challenge there could be for themselves, and increasing it by several orders of magnitude onto others.

I also would like to mention that I joined R1 in September 1967, so those guys have zero excuses to cry after they had more than 12 years of "blue ocean" market to pull away :sulk:

And I would like to mention that any idiot can do what you're doing.

If I wanted to I could start another airline in R1 running nothing but the absolute cheapest aircraft out there that have almost criminally low fuel burn, and spam every route that I see. It's probably the least difficult thing to do in this game because it requires no thought, no strategic planning, you don't have to think about each and every move you're making and why.

But I choose to play realistically because frankly, AE gets boring that way. Sure you're probably laughing every time you set the price to $5 on a transcontinental route, picturing every single one of your competitors getting mad. You probably think you're a good troll.

But not only does my airline compete with yours on several routes, I have 100% load factors in all classes with prices several orders of magnitude higher than yours. I imagine that anybody keeping tabs on their routes in R1 are also having no trouble maintaining profit with a similar strategy to me. Really, what you're doing has no effect on the competition (I know because I've tested it before).

I don't know who you're trying to impress, but it's most certainly not me. Now go back to the playground where you belong, while we adults continue to have fun playing the game you're trying and failing to ruin.

Wow! What a nice speech! :cryhappy:

Please put it in an envelope and send it to the CEO of Ryanair, asking him how he dares to put such low prices on flights around Europe (400-1500 miles). Make sure that you tell him about the 3 classes "thing", the load factors and the rest of blablabla, and see if he can tell you how his company last year posted $1 Billion profits while Lufthansa, of the tops in Europe, "just" $1,8 Billion. :rofl2:

So here is my opinion.

AE 3.1 is built for spamming. Yuxi knows this and with the little work being done on AE4 has made curbing it a priority.

Big airlines such as yours are a bit boring, unrealistic but totally allowed and understandable given the game mechanics. Would be cool if you could make it profitable with 727s or early jets, you would get good kudos for that since they are so inefficient :P

On my way to it - we are in September 1971, in these 3 years that The Flying Cow has been operating it ordered everything that Boing has on their shelves and now is in that phase that it is buying anything that can fly (AND is reasonable to fly) and bringing some fun to the US market

Regarding the size of the airline - in the US market The Flying Cow is still transporting just around the 15% of daily passenger, being the 80% of the market split between the top 12 US airlines, so currently The Flying Cow is slightly bigger than its main competitors, but still too far away from achieving any type of monopoly  B) As The Flying Cow is competing against other big guys it needs to be at least as big as they are to be taken seriously :hi:

No, because all my friends are actually smart and intellectual. Not people who just spend all their time on an airline simulation games thinking they're smart when they're actually not.

lol, jeez, relax, man. :)

Some people here take this whole thing far too seriously and go too far hating people they've never met and know nothing about. :)
