I'm completely dominating North America in R7, I've been paying cash now instead of leasing with everything except 747's.

I'm building terminals on all my larger routes..........I pay more in income tax than most of my competitors are worth.

The only other airline that comes even close to me is in Asia but there's political restrictions and so the airlines in NA are left alone with me and I'm very competitive.

And I'm starting to feel bad for those other airlines and to be honest........I get bored if there's no challenge.

Anyway's.......I'm not going to shut down my airline in R7 just yet, just stop adding routes and let the other airlines catch up.

Starting in O1 nearly a year late and going after #1 spot when your at the bottom.............now that's a challenge.

Don't worry, if you're expecting challenge someone can easily catch up with you in a few years in R7, and you won't feel bad for that guy if they start harassing your routes.   :) You're in year one with still slightly over 100 planes and there's time to get busy when it comes to thousands you'll need to stay in top 10.

Don't stop adding routes. I'd keep dominating if I were you and pick up   :1st: .

Take new challenges, open hubs, go trans-oceanic, or take small tasks like connecting all the small Caribbean states if you're bored, or something like that, it will pay off later when competition heats up.

By the way, I usually start 4-9 years into the game (because of the used marked, first years can make you a lot of money to be financially stable half-way into the game but it can be boring, but you already went trough the most boring part) and it wasn't very hard to get into first 3 or to #1 actually, if you know what you're doing, it's easy to build 1000 plane fleet in 1-2 years and those living on old glory can soon be history when it comes to top 10 tier. ;)

So I started in O1 at the bottom less than 2 days ago and now I'm at #14 and I'll be in the top 10 in a couple hours But I can forget about taking #1.

The top airline has a huge lead over everyone else and he's good.........something like the lead I had in R7.

It's a lot harder when you start from behind and most of the good routes already have lots of competition.

I reached #8 in 2 days but now I started another new world so I'll probably drop this one too........lol.

Of course you can pump up prices when O1 is new, I don't remember exactly but I think I had 737-300s with 1,5M DOP in new worlds... You can do it in any fresh market, and also as competition grows, your honeymoon might be over soon, in any other world as well, it won't get any easier because you have one good earner (for now).

Why would you abandon R7 when you're no.1 there? Use that money and stay no.1.

Konj1, I don't think you had any 737 with a daily profit of 1.5 mil......maybe half that because I've pretty much topped out my best 737-400 at about 750k which is amazing profit and that's using every trick I know.......which is a lot.

And I know that's pretty good because I have no problem taking and keeping #1 in just about any game world I start in............as long as I keep playing in that game world.

There's a few other players that have reached that plateau and mastered the game.......like TNT88 and maybe you too but your not that much better.

An Example........I've just started in the latest game world ( R5 ) and were just over 3 months in and when almost everyone else is starting to order their 3rd or 4th line of aircraft models I'm at 8 including A300-600R's and 747-400's........and I still can't spend it all so now I'm also paying cash for aircraft instead of leasing.

Getting back to your other post about route frequency and how it effects route reputation..........I've figured out a system to get the most efficient combination of frequency, reputation, demand and ticket pricing out of a route.

And yes, increasing route frequency does consistently increase route reputation.........I tested it out to 55 flights, I see no reason why it wouldn't continue well beyond that.

34.6% last month... but that's with an airline that's expanding pretty rapidly

My current airlines Spring Air have 45.02% in last october, but it dropped to 15% after I leased 100 aircrafts in november and december. January actually goes as low as -5% because I leased another 50 aircrafts. It should go back to 40% in february or march.

Last month WestAir  was at 45.58% in R5.

But it is possible to do a little bit better, lot's of micromanaging though.

I've had ~50% (I think) before now.

I think the margin actually got higher after that, but the world ended
