If you'd like I can provide further data supporting my claim from Ivy League economics departments, third party Federal spending sources, nonprofits such as the one the charts came from which provide good objective data on where a variety of candidates stand, and the odd news article and book.

I'd also like to add that the good things involving the economy are not 100% attributable to Obama, as he actually as little to no direct control over the economy because, again, we're not a socialist state (again, contrary to what the right has been shouting for years).

Obama's recovery sucked, we recovered but it sucked. Also my parents premiums and my own sky rocketed under the ACA so don't be too happy for yourself.

I'll take some recovery over none. At least what we've built up until now can be used as a springboard to bigger and better things.

Again the president has little to no direct control over how well the economy does. The Fed can set interest rates on lending, control the currency supply, implement regulation and that's just about it. It's Congress that actually enacts legislation to manipulate the tax system to either incentivize or discourage behaviors in the economy, but beyond that they can't really do much about the economy either.

The notion that Obama's a socialist, that the US is becoming anything close to socialist, or that the financial mess we're in is the direct result of presidential policy demonstrates an extremely flawed view as to how the US economy works.

Actually on the subject I recommend you read The Drunkard's Walk by Mlodinow.

I do not think the U.S is becoming socialist. I think like the rest of the world we are fleeing from it, of course noisy minorities are there. That is what the left is these days, noisy minorities. The right side of history will win worldwide. The regressive left will be beaten to death, probably literally beaten to death. The world will rejoice and conservative politicians will have majorities everywhere. A revolution is coming, you just wait. 1st. country will be the U.K, then Germany, then probably a Scandinavian nation, then the rest of Europe, and finally us stubborn Americans.

I like this future.
