IM 110% positive that a sheduled reset would help everyone out!! but with the airlines that have a lot of experience (if youve been online for a month overall etc..) if the reset plan goes ahead, should get some sort of bonus... so that they dont always have to restart.. cause some might not bother working up again

Scheduled resests will lead to suicide prices dump a year before it happens. Unscheduled much better, prevents more A-hole actions.

The idea is good but the ramifications are bad in having a set time schedule, if you are way down and know that you have no chance in obtaining more lost ground, players tend to price dump causing issues to other players. The fact that last reset Miller22 announced it, was a shock to many players, as the reset before it was done in secret and over with and nothink anyone could say or do about it. That element of not knowing, is the best way forward.

Yeah probably, otherwise you have people ordering 500+ Q4's or 10 pages worth of D328's at once. That's what I did at the end of last round. It was good for a day at least to give everyone a discount on new aircraft.

Dont worry, in the new version, Scheduled resets will be part of the plan, You'll play "games" and the games will probably be of a set length.

if you make it to #1 or inside the top 3 airlines, you get a free go on the next game... You are also promoted to the league above which will contain harder airlines to compete with.

In the new version, value will NOT be the decider for the rankings, you'll have a customer rating, OTP Percentage, profitibility across all areas of the business...

More will be announced as required, but it will be big...

I think the game should go on until competition is virtually impossible, thats where theres no point in carrying on! I mean you don't see easy markets all over the world in real life so if we want to simulate it we might aswel!

my appologies for not using the search function, I had never seen that link before. It was something that we all knew could possibly happen!!! Shame tho, I wouldnt mind a few more ads here and there to help the game break even

Miller has said a few times before that there will always be a free version. Don't let the chat session fool you. However, there should be no further improvements to the free version. All improvements (stock market, etc.) will be for the pay version. The new features are too easily used by people that abuse the system.

I'm OK with the game as is, but would like the option of having the older a/c in the free version. Otherwise, I'm fine with free and pay.
