Top Gear is dead. Clarkson is an idiot. Some people just have a hard time accepting that the shows are getting a bit boring. After close to 20 series they're running out of challenges. Let sleeping dogs lie, alternatively just watch Dave in the early afternoon.

Arn't the three of them doing a new car show on Netflix? This will likely kill or hurt the new generation of Top Gear.

 

Personally, I don't care as most of the time I thought it was boring.

I didn't watch Top Gear for the cars, I watched it for the 3 main presenters. I will follow them where they go next. Screw Top Gear. They will likely go to Netflix to film a new adventure of some type together. It will most probably be a success anyways. Although Chris Evans is a pretty good guy that know cars he won't match what Clarkson, Hammond and May did, They built it up, he will break it down.  

 

I agree, it's the humor from that iconic trio that made me watch the show, feel sorry for Evans, everyone will be constantly comparing him to Clarkson.

Yes, they've been better in the past. But it's still my favorite show (well, has been). And I don't think he's an idiot. He simply doesn't care about political correctness. He's pretty direct. And that's what I like most about him.

You can suspend him for that, not fire him. And he did apologize. And that's not the only reason for him being fired. He had warnings before because of political correctness issues at the BBC. They're too serious about this.

But yes, assaulting a producer isn't a good thing. He should really be suspended for that.
