As we all know lots of modern aircraft like B787, A350, A330Neo, B777X, B737MAX, or A320Neo come out late in most of the world. Most of these aircraft come out when lots of players already established their airlines. Hence why lots of players didn't order the newer plane such as the MAX or B787-10 for instance. I want to create a new world with a short period of time (15 to 20 years) which placed in the modern era. We got lots of words starting at jet age in 70's or 80's. But we only got 1 world that starts at 2000.

 

This world would last around 45 days (1,5 month) to 60 days (2 months) in real life. This short period of time could be used to prevent "Spamlines" to get to point where it consumed all the markets. With this time period, we can utilize more modern aircraft and creating more choice for players in AE.

 

Starting aircraft :

A320-200

B737-800

Bombardier Q400

ATR ATR-42-500

 

World Type : Realistic World

Maximum Player : 300

Player Limit : Limit 1 / player

Starting Money : $7.500.000,-

Well It's a fast round, and the poll says 15 minutes would be the preference for this world. Most world finished in 3 months or more. We need at least one world where the cycle get faster since most of the time lots of the world just get un-playable because of the gate restrictions or limit reached. This could be the world players go to if the other world are full or un-playable.

AE has too many airports, too many gates and too many pax for an airline to be unprofitable.

I have not come across any unplayable world so far, I have never tried O1 though.

R6 probably will be shortened to 30 years after reset.

No easy (15 year) trophy if that's what you want.

1st. "UNPLAYABLE" not unprofitable. Some of the world like R6 have problems with airport that runs out of the gate. You can't create British Airways with no flight from LHR - ORD because of the lack of gates do. And no, I don't need short-time if I want to get trophies. Because it took me more than 3 years to establish 1 airlines that can generate enough requirements to winning the trophies. And you need to see the 1 player per world slots restrictions I put there.

 

2nd. We only have 1 world that started in modern time. Which is R6.

 

3rd. Limit 1 / player

Exactly i hope there will be some world with shorter real life duration.. we can be more focus as well... otherwise those long duration game is simply impossible to let you catch up so most people are not playing in the world after certain period...

It all depends on the world. R0 is still busy after 50 years, while other worlds calm down after a few years. I would say a 20 year world might be fun all the same.

2010 - 2040 may be the best, 30 years will give enough time for us to develop an huge airline and I think people won't get bored playing in 30 years game...

I really do hope to see the appearance of the modern aircraft era... Between 2005 or 2010 up to 2030 will be very interesting for those loving the modern aircraft... We are able to start with all other aircraft from different era but not the latest generation aircraft...

Actually no, airlines retiring lots of 3rd generation aircraft for 4th generation aircraft. Old B777-200/ER/LR or A340 or B757 and B767, even old A320 and B737 classic are getting retired for newer aircraft.Only plane like A330 that doesn't get retired because of their profitability.

Well, I wouldn't order A340-500 or B777-200ER to be honest.
