I just started a few weeks ago and I was wondering how to do a flight from say, Seattle Tacoma to Beijing. Whenever I put thet into the research route the plane is shown going West. This make the flight out of range for my 747's.

1. It's supposed to go west... east would be fun ^_^

2. All 747s except for the 747-100 could make it SEA-PEK. I see you have 747SPs. Those could make the range. The 747-200B you also have on order can make the way there.

If you wanna look at range, go to www.gcmap.com and put in CITY1ID-CITY2ID. It'll tell you how far it is at the bottom, then when you order planes, make sure it has the range to go there.

The map now is quite funny - no plane flies through time zones. This means a plane flying from LAX-SYD will show the plane flying Southeast, passing Florida, North Africa, Indonesia, then Australia.

That does not matter - range is calculated using shortest route so routes like SEA-PEK should be doable on most 747s.

Ignore the map it is very basic all it really shows is starting and finishing points. It doesn't show the route the plan will take.
