Hi,

would it be possible to make a very long game starting in 1945 for example?

And stopping in ... ? 2030?

Also, it would be great, if we could have the option to make direct flights instead of only nonstop. Like for example CPH-BKK-SYD... Landing to refuel and then go on to a destination far away...

:-)

I really enjoy this game!

Best regards,

Thor

1950 - 2020 is quite similar, or 1955 - 2030. But because these are long worlds, you could be waiting up to 4 months until the next round.

4-5 months is only for the normal worlds. :P R1 is more like 10 months.

Correct :P

Also, connecting flights are scheduled to be released in AE4, as well as many more features.

As others have said, we already have R0 and R1, which each take about 10 months to recycle. That's the inherent issue with long worlds :P

Ok, excellent, thanks :-)

The thing is, I cannot sit all day and play, I have work to do also... So a long game is very good for me :-) I find it very good that the speed is not too fast, so I´ll just have to wait for those games to restart then...

Thanks for all your replies :-)

R0 and R1 run at the same speed as most other games (15 or 20 minutes per day, which translates to 3 or 4 game months per real life day). If you're looking for slower worlds due to time constraints, I suggest looking at the 30-minute-per-day worlds like R3 or R4, which run for about 7-8 months instead of 5 months for most 20-minute worlds. But R3 and R4 run for 40 years game time (and will most likely be 30 years after the reset), so I'd stick with R1 if you want to take an airline all the way from the 50s through the modern era (but it's not a "slow" world). Sorry if that sounds confusing. :P

I think you may be confusing speed and length. R0 and R1 run at 15 or 20 minutes per day (4 or 3 game months per real life day), which is as fast as or faster than most other worlds. They run for significantly longer between resets, however.

If you're looking for slower (but also shorter) worlds due to time constraints, I suggest looking at the 30-minute-per-day worlds like R3 or R4. These run for about 7-8 months instead of 5 months for most 20-minute worlds. But R3 and R4 run for only 40 years game time (and will most likely be 30 years after they reset), so I'd stick with R1 if you want to take an airline all the way from the 50s through the modern era (but it's not a "slow" world).

In other words, R0/R1 are fast and long, while R3/R4 are slower but shorter than R0/R1.

Sorry if that sounds confusing. :P
