Commercial for your 18th B-Day? Have you not come to realise most dont have €60k (average out all costs from PPL-CPL including ME, IR etc) just lying around going to no good use?

i guess you're right. i know i'm very luck to be able to do what i'm doing. benefits of being an only child:) also helps to have a very supportive family, with members who always wanted to be a pilot. I've got about 70 hours now, and am building up cross country hours for the instrument, which i need about 30 more of.

I've flown domestically (as a passenger) tons. Mostly out of ANC or SEA, but also connect a lot in MSP. I'vee only taken to trips overseas, one ANC-FRA-FCO and the other ANC-SEA-LHR-CDG

I doubt I will get a PPL for a while because my mum is paranoid about flying.
But we are flying to the Cayman Island this Christmas, and to Cuba.

I have piloted both a C152 and a Piper Tomahawk (spelling?) for around 40 mins each.
As for commercial flights...
Qantas
737-400 Sydney-Auckland
767-XXX Christchurch - Sydney
Jetstar
A320 Sydney - Coolangatta
A320 Collangatta - Sydney
Both times me and Loius (EAGLE CEO) got to see the flight deck and all that stuff.
United
747-400 Sydney - LAX
CRJ 50 LAX - Sacremento
747-400 LAX - Sydney
I have also been on a Cessna Grand Caravan joy flight around NZ's Mt. Cook (awesome).
In 3 weeks ill be going to vietnam with vietnam airlines. I'm in for 2 flights in the 777, a few internal A320 flights (vietnam airlines) and a flight in a small prop. Should be fun:P
