Hake is proud to announce that City Group Intl., in association with Guinness Peat Aviation, are preparing to begin an international flag carrier for Malta. The airline is due to start with a fleet of Fokker aircraft, with temporary support from ATR 42-300s until replacement by Fokker 50s. The Fokker 100, Fokker 70 and Boeing 767 have all been outlined as future aircraft, pending success. Malta needs a strong airline to promote tourism and air links to the Mediterranean and northern Africa.
