Hi everyone,
I recently reconfigured a large batch of A320 aircraft. Within hours, my DOP dropped by several million and a lot my routes are now in the negative. Anyone know why?
I didn't change the seat #, just the IFE.

go into your routes and click save under the prices it should update it
if you added a new class to the aircraft try checking your routes for any with $1 prices and change those

Since I added ads and a cost to the new configuration, the IFE rating did go down by a few stars. Could this be the cause? The seat configurations remained exactly the same, no classes added.
The IFE shouldn't have a impact really. Do the A320s fit more than your lastplane? Also, could there be weight restrictions?
No, I was reconfiguring an existing fleet of 200 A320 and the seat count remain the same - 12C,136Y. Only IFE was changed.
Possibly it just recalculated routes you had been undercut on.
I have a feeling this is the reason.
Not sure if others who replied actually knows the system very well or they're just speaking from a theoretical point of view, but as far as I can tell from my personal experience with the game, you always become less profitable (on average) whenever you make any changes to your routes. AE implementation is full of bugs, it is best not to touch any routes at all once you set them up. So, try to run routes where no one would ever want to fly to; not that you can't compete with them, just that you don't want to make any alteration to your routes ever.
If you add/remove classes, business class on the route usually lowers in pax load. Just simply lower the price for biz by a dollar or two, and all's good.
