I'm the leader of an alliance. I'm getting nowhere fast with my airline and have decided to get rid of it. But before i do so what happens to the alliance I started? Does it cease to exist or does it get turned over to the member with the highest valuation?

The alliance will continue to exist but will be left without a leader. Before shutting down the airline, I suggest leaving the alliance so you can transfer control to someone else.
