I'd prefer 1930-1970, but first we need to have all those historic, approved aircraft added into the game. (stratoliner, DC-4, ...)

I like the idea but I would prefer it to last until 1980-85 as that's when the good planes begin to come out like the 757, 767, A310 etc

No idea, but consider that they were the biggest and long-haul aircraft of the time.

I forgot to add: there should also be tech stops for refueling added before opening such a world.

The current version of the game is ill-suited for older time periods because there are no mechanisms for economic and political changes and airport opening/closings over time. The further back we go, the more gross inaccuracies are accumulated. There's also a lack of aircraft choices prior to 1960. For these reasons, I don't plan to start an older world any time soon.
