Recently I went to Florida for a Disney cruise with a stay at Disney world (and a tiny 1-day trip to Universal Orlando).

Well lets start from the beginning here.

My grandma was having her 80th birthday and decided to take us on a cruise. We were all like yay and we decided to also go to Disney World and Universal Orlando. This was in Christmas and all and we had to decide about rental car companies and airlines. The three "men of the family" sat in the office and talked about stuff and decided, me, my uncle, and my dad.

Well, my uncle found this really nice deal on Spirit Airlines. And I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and I quick found a better deal for AirTran. Dad was like "that's a connecting flight we don't take connecting flights" and I was like :|. So my Uncle bought us onto Spirit Airlines even though I was warning him.

Also about the rental car, he also bought a really risky voucher thing with Dollar and another car company but thank god that turned out fine.

Well, about June 10th, we were at George Bush International Airport and we went to our gate 2 hours early. We were happy and all and we had snacks and were ready to go on our vacation. Well first they say it was delayed for 30 minutes, we were all like meh. Then it just kept growing and growing, They said there was a part that was broken and they would fix it up real fast. Well they needed a new part. So they called the warehouse in Downtown Houston to get the part. So we spent about 2 hours waiting for the part to arrive. But of course something got messed up so they said they were going to fly a Spirit plane out of Dallas. We were like yay because that was a real answer and they couldn't just lie about that. Well of course they found a way to lie about it. The plane left Dallas 30 minutes late, but we eventually got on after a 6 HOUR DELAY (+2 hours I was there earlier) . The whole time we were there, families were getting mad at the people and lining up to the desk at the gate. Of course being the aviation enthusiast I just stood around watching them. I remember 3 people, there was this 1st time family to Disney World which made me happy but the Dad was really mad because they were going to miss a day. Then there was this one lady who was so furious at the Spirit Airlines she set up a class action lawsuit with the 1st guy (lawl like that'll work). Then there was this 3rd lady who was just cranky and tired but she was very mature about it. She missed her one-day to go to Universal with her family so I feel sorry for her. Also, there was these people on the plane who missed their Princess Dinner so that was odd.

THE GATE ITSELF : Tv was playing Edward snowden drama stuff

The plane flight went really fast and I would give Spirit 4-stars for the flight itself. Because we aren't cheapskates we spent the 10 bucks and got the family drinks (they actually give cans, not just those teeny tiny cups). I enjoyed the flight and we got to Orlando at about 5:00 (we should have got there at noon). Then again, because our family plans ahead on this stuff we didn't plan ANYTHING for the day we got there, but my uncle sort of had an idea of what he wanted. Eventually after walking to the rental car place (turned out great) we drove to the hotel. As we pulled into the pick-up lane at the hotel my uncle was like "Kitty was right". Of course my name isn't Kitty. Well we missed our reservations at Boma : Flavors of Africa which is the top restaurant at Disney World and my uncle sort of wanted us to go see Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios.

The vacation itself went well and we suffered absolutely no problems until we next encountered Spirit. When we got back to MCO we found out of course the flight was delayed by an hour. The guy there felt actually sorry and said Houston had a lot of problems this week. Well it was actually an hour and we got to leave, it was fine that flight too.

So that was my experience with Spirit.
