Do flights ever open up between the two countries in this game?

 

I know this happened in real life to some extent in real life somewhere round 2008. (charters only?)

yeah they opened up in 2008 and they weren't charters. thing is, the laws surrounding these cross strait flights are much more complicated then just letting a China-Taiwan free-for-all. hence, you cannot operate cross strait flights in ae
