Scandinavian Airlines System subsidiary SAS Commuter has officially gained affiliate status within Excel, allowing both Excel and SAS Commuter a host of new travel options within Northern Europe and the rest of the world. SAS Commuter has a steadily growing fleet of Fokker 27 turboprop aircraft based exclusively out of Stockhold-Arlanda Airport, operating to many small towns within Sweden, Greater Scandinavia, as well as Central Europe. 

 

Excel has also been in talks with several other affiliates of our member airlines SAS, as well as London based Atlantic Air, about their ascension into the alliance, however these talks are only in their infancy. The product of this negotiation is expected to be a pair of new airlines increasing Excel's foothold on Europe.
