So hey! I just joined AE yesterday and it's a very fun a strategic game which I like. I managed to get some money going and do some routes and aircraft. Total revenue is 14 million with 2 million net income which I think is pretty good for a starter, right? So, just wanted to let the community know that this game is awesome and I hope u keep up with the good work!

Hey! Welcome to AE.  Hope you enjoy your time here.  I'm still relatively new as well but feel I have gotten off to a good start.  I generally like to have a profit margin of 15% or better.  30% is great.  There are great guides around that helped me get started.  My favorite, lease used, then, lease new, buy used, buy new.  Just as an FYI keep a relatively low age of planes and use the same classes of planes.  Your maintenance cost will thank you. Sounds decent for a fresh beginner.  We are here to help.  Enjoy the game!

I've already started by leasing 3 planes and made routes in East asia to get some profit. Then I bought a a319 and madew a Beijing to Shanghai route to make some more profit. I'm progressing well! And I also have a 30% profit margin right now.
