At a ceremony in the middle of bustling Tokyo, one of the world's three centres for commerce and trade, representatives from Nippon Airways, Scandinavian Airlines System, Atlantic Air, Oceanic Airlines and Alcielo - Italian Airlines met to announce the latest innovation in commercial air travel: Excel Alliance, the most comprehensive group of airlines ever attempted. Excel unites the networks, frequent flyer programs, lounges, check-in services, and dozens of other key facets of the airline industry in order to provide the most expansive and smooth travel experience on the planet.
Our mission is to expand our horizons, with several other world-class airlines lined up to join our group, Excel's future is nothing but bright. And this means nothing but good for the global traveller, with access to the world's leading hubs, and the smallest towns, Excel can get anybody anywhere at any time. So what does it mean to excel? At Excel, it's what we aim to find out, and what we aim to deliver.

Nippon Airways
Nippon Airways captures the very essence of Japanese culture, with polite service delivered promptly and with poise. Founded in 1950, the Japanese government officially declared it the nation's flag carrier shortly afterwards in 1953, and it has been at the forefront of Asian aviation since. Nippon Airways boasts the highest on-time percentage for departures and arrivals of any airline in the world, making its domestic operations out of Tokyo-Haneda Airport, Osaka-Itami Airport, and Sapporo Airport the most efficient in the world. Nippon also boasts a globe encompassing network out of Tokyo-Narita Airport, connecting the world to the fastest growing economy in the world.

Scandinavian Airlines System
Founded through the merger of four of Scandinavia's leading carriers after World War II, Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) has positioned itself as a global carrier, ensuring Scandinavian quality can be experienced by people across the world. SAS has established itself as an innovative and trend-setting operation, pioneering commonplace practices such as trans-Polar routes, making the world that much smaller. As of now, SAS has been steadily expanding, serving a pleathora of destinations from its primary hubs at Stockholm in Sweden, Oslo in Norway and Copenhagen in Denmark.

Oceanic has been the premier American air carrier since the very dawn of the industry. Britain's youngest and chicest air carrier is proud to partner with Excel Alliance, allowing member airlines to access a transit point at London's Heathrow Airport, and allowing Atlantic access to the world at large. As of now, Atlantic Air is Britain's largest private airline serving destinations across the world with its fleet of wide-body aircraft.

Alcielo – Italian Airlines
Italy's flag carrier is Excel's final launch carrier, acting as a messenger for the Republic of Italy, maintaining flights across Europe and the world from its primary hub at Rome-Fiumiccino airport. Aleico is also one of Europe's largest airlines, operating a great number of flights across the continent, providing more options to the modern air traveller for connecting flights. Alcielo also operates charters for the Vatican.
