Well this debate is endless but if we look in stats of our own real world airbus is much above boeing because it's planes are more efficint  and have better power to weight ratio and are much more reliable :innocent:

If there really was any difference between the companies, one of them would go bankrupt very fast.

I personally like both the 737 NG and A320 Family (Pre Sharklets), However I'm intrigued by the Bombardier CS100. Honestly in real life if I were to form Iron Wolf Airways, I feel the CS100 would provide my needs as an airline. Since the CS100 is likely to be already able to be fueled by Bio Fuels and I think the new airplane would be a better option as any plastic or metalic surfaces in the cabin would be post consumer recycled materials, The seats would be made with all cotton and some animal fiber to strengthen it, Likely Alpaca/Llama. And I think the new plane would be perfect.

Finally someone who makes sense. :D

Gramatically, the person you quoted presumes there is more than one Bombardier, While there is only one.

It should be "Bombardier is the best." - Which is true.

If anyone says Airbus or Boeing is the best I can part with Airbus but Boeing I only cut slack with the 777 and 737.

CS100 is great for supporting the larger CS300 on an airlines route network. Just take note that the CS100 has a slightly higher CASM than the CS300, entirely due to the reduced number of seats. Also, shouldn't the 160 seat extra capacity option be available in AE. Anyone think the same.

I cannot believe that in the year 2013, you've not all realized Hawker-Siddely, With the Trident, was the best manufacturer of aircraft. Just all of you, Leave now and never return.

Fun note, it never actually operated in this livery. It was painted as such to show sick kids around a plane without interrupting schedules or whatever.

That looks like the BEA livery. The CASM is too high.

Airbus and Boeing are blown out of the water if you plan to use them. The only options other than the CSeries are the A319neo with sharklets and the 737 MAX 8. The CS300 is slightly below the level of the A319neo but well above the MAX 8.

Bombardier CSeries owns boeing and airbus for short haul by CASM alone. Only the A319neo is better than the CSeries,by quite a lot infact, but apart from that, they are cut short. Oh, and Embraer's regional jet isn't good at all, and their E195 has higher CASM than the CS100. Airbus A319neo is 49 million dollars ingame, the CS300 is 48 million. If you operate a sufficient quantity of each, you can serve the markets very well indeed, only losing out on the long-haul market, which you can serve with the 53.2 million A319LR, and the Ultra long haul with the A350-900R and the A380. Bombardier's q400 nextgen is cheap, only 22 million dollars ingame, and has the lower CASM than the ATR-72-600 and makes the perfect choice for almost all regional routes.

My conclusion,

Bombardier is first, and Airbus second in my opinion. B

Oh, this debate again! :P

But for me, AIRBUS.

As a passenger, their planes are generally more comfortable. As an aviation enthusiast, I find their planes look better especially the A340. And if ever I'm going to run a real airline, I'd go for Airbus since I appreciate their manufacturing and design philosophy.

One downside though is that I find John Leahy incredibly annoying.

Who cares about CASM? Nice planes are all I care about. Because Airbus are better, I usually go for the A320 Series. The A320-100 is nicer than the -200, even if it's slower, lower range and higher fuel flow. The Trident is a brilliant plane, as is the BAC 1-11 and Avro. They're not overly efficient but who cares ^_^ . A330>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 777 > A340.
EDIT: Fokkers, DHC and Short Brothers are :awesome:
