Okay I know this went over poorly and ended up being removed by Yuxi but he said we could try a return at some point. Before we needed to make a special effort to give or take a reputation point to or from someone, you had to go find their profile, find the button and it was too much work so nobody cared enough to do that because frankly we are all lazy. So lets give it another go but this time a green +1 and a red -1 next to your name on all posts too? this way we are color coded so nobody gets confused and nobody needs to make special effort? Also we could see who is accepted well by our community and who isnt, wow this reminds me of someone long ago who I didnt get along with well. All you veteran AE players lets see who can PM me the right answer first. Who would i ALWAYS fight with on AE? Hints availible upon requests.

I'd like to see it come back, the only issue is that the system was incredibly broken as a gauge of reputation, and fosters an atmosphere of 'me high reputation, you low reputation, my opinion is more valuable'

I understand what you are saying however, you dont have to use it and maybe we could restrict it somehow, like there is a max of times you can + or - something a day

Certain users are already being 'abused' on here and we could do without yet another potential method of abuse for bullies to use against these members, for this reason, I do not want to see the reputation system back on AE.
