China-Taiwan Flights

I have been looking over some sources about China-Taiwan relations, and I know that there were technically no flights between them. As early as 2004, charter flights have been going over the strait, and starting in 2008-2009, flights were fully restored as scheduled. I even started an airline in R5, which is currently in 2015, to see if it would let me, and the political restrictions were still in place. Is there a way a mod or programmer could fix this? Just wondering...

Problem is, it would have to be open for all for the whole game, not just after a given time period.

Kai this could be coded just like the current EU and have it start up fully in 2008.
Actually the China-Taiwan restriction is more complicated and cannot be implemented cleanly under the current political restrictions infrastructure, which is why I've held off on this for so long.

Well...you could make it more basic?
Very unlikely as AE 3 is not getting new features or additions as the focus is (hopefully) on getting the long anticipated AE 4 live

It's very restricted and confusing but it can be implemented.
