LLC actually we, at alliance don't get any advantage actaully sometimes get illusion.

For example if there is Hub by another player in alliance you would get "help" having purple thing on load factor getting it 100%

So if that player join route you already fly your load factor would not be lower but you would gain less money then without him.

What I AM TRYING to say that those 6 airlines on that routes doesn't gain any advantage then other players that aren't in alliance.

Sometimes i have to check routes that have 100% loadfactor due another player in alliance Having 50% green instead of 100% ( gaining 50% less money with his "help")

Not best english here but I know you understand it.

Of course there's an advantage.  It is sad to look at. No its impressive actually.   I still think you could put a plane in there and have it profitable.  If your own airline is big enough and marketed correctly.  Youre gonna get something .   The game is not realistic.  If not I'd leave for  routes elsewhere.

there are several routes with 3-6 airlines in the same alliance operating in an anti-competitive manner
(violating anti-trust rules)

example from world O1 (but this problem exists in ALL AE worlds)
ae31.airline-empires.com route details city1= ATL & city2= ORD

This is cheating, as Airline Empires is supposed to follow real world rules (Anti-trust)

This rule NEEDS to be applied to airline alliances to eliminate instances of six airlines of the same alliance operating in the same route:

AE rule #2 "Multiple airlines owned by the same player in a world cannot be used to give an unfair advantage to each other (selling aircraft to each other to get around delivery slot limits, flooding routes together to gain market share, etc)."

proposed new AE rule #3 to apply to airline alliances:

"Multiple airlines in the same alliance in a world cannot be used to give an unfair advantage to each other (selling aircraft to each other to get around delivery slot limits, flooding routes together to gain market share, etc)."

airline-empires.com Rules
wikipedia.org wiki Sherman_Antitrust_Act

What we're seeing there isn't illegal under anti-trust law in any case. The market as shown would be wholly legal in the real world, from that point of view.

From a game perspective, it's entirely realistic that economies of scale make it unfeasible for small airlines to break into major, heavily competitive markets.

Alright, sure.

I'm sure you're planning to stump up $100,000 a year for two employees to impartially monitor AE airlines...
