Okay, this is a small program I made and I'd like to share. It displays all cities in AE within a given distance from a given city, sorted by distance. Hard to explain, see screenshot below instead. Well anyways, the distance is now given in statute miles.

As of version 0.4.0.4, you can now enter a minimum distance and a maximum distance, and the program will show all gates whose distance to the chosen city is between the two values.

Note that you still can leave the first box empty and enter 500 in the second box, this would give you all cities within 500 miles distance from the chosen city. Or you can leave the second box empty and write 500 in the first box, this would give you all cities whose distance to your chosen city is more than 500 miles.

As of version 0.4.0.4, the locations of the previously misplaced cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dublin have been corrected.

OK - This version is MORE to real figures (Well this Program to AE)

But I agree with you ziliu, the Real Life distance to AE is no match at all.

Sweet. I'm going to eventually get around to putting together a form for players to fill in runway data for airports, and once that's done good things will happen. I'll even send you the cities database to use in your program.

Dublin is way off. IT says that Bremen is the closest airport! Bremen is in Germany!

Dude, it said CPH. CPH is in Denmark. BRE is in southern Germany. Those figures are right

Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow apparently all seem wrong. I'm in school now and don't have access to the program, but I'll check it when I get home. It's probably because somebody(i.e. me) entered the coordinates wrong or something.

Ziliu, is it also possible to make an extra input box to make it able to search for cities with a range between to distances?
Example: show gates with range between 1500nm - 2500nm of Charles de Gaulle. This makes the tool easier to use for longer range distances.

Lol Maestro. Well everybody, new version (0.4.0.4) of the program out. Rainbow, your suggestions been implemented. And Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow have been placed where they should be. See first post in this thread, that has been edited.
