Do hubs tend to have loads of transfer passengers? I had over 2 747 worth of passengers from my hub to Europe, not sure if there was more since I ran out of flights. More than 50% of the passangers were transfers. Is that normal for flights from hubs or was it because of other causes (international?)

It's normal if your hub is big enough. Connecting-passenger amounts on any given route grow proportionally to demand on the route and passengers flying into the hub, so it can be that more than half your passengers are connecting. But consider that connecting passengers only pay half the price and will not be let on board if the flight is already full with regular passengers.
