The game uses a simple formula to determine city-pair demand. It's based on the annual pax information for each airport--not individual city-pairs. If you look at a similar city-pair in the US (for example, FLL-TUS), you will see the demand is very much the same. In reality, FLL-TUS has much less daily demand than what is listed.
It's the nature of the game. Again, if people want to make exceptions, it's only fair to first analyze the demand between all 11,495,490 city-pairs before incorporating exceptions in the game.
