That fool just mailed me, asking me to reduce my fare. I've given up on going the low route, I'm just going to leave my 1 remaining route at $100 until this nonsense is complete. I don't care anymore if I lose money or someone rigs the route, I'm not toughing it anymore.

If you're not one of the offenders, I urge you to do the same. Set your route at $100 and just leave it. At least then we'll know whose NOT behind all this.

scalpel , that is really good of you . i now really want to return to that route .
i returned with my Q400 , and set the price to 100$ as you suggested . this hole thing costs me over 2000 a day , but i can handle that now , but only if you don't mind . However , how is ur loadfactor ? ;)

My LF is 0%, loosing $1500 a day on a B1900. FYI the only way it will get you a profit is if
A. miller drops thos emonkeys doing this or
B. someone rigs the route, which I'm DEFINITELY not advocating.

I'm just tired of trying to get that monkeyboy to fly straight. Thanks for joining in, although you don't have to if it gets to be too much.

By the way, how come Asian Sky has been able to leave his at $300? Perhaps he decided long ago to just leave it?

You are welcome . at first i didn't want to leave the route , i left and amanged to raise my DOP 100K a day (!) . Now i returned to the route , it is making me 2000 loss a day with 0.0 low factor but i can cope with it , as the extra aircrft time wasn't used anyway .

Maybe he is making a profit , if he changes it his loadfactor sinks

Exactly. Definitely not OK, but if your profits rise suddenly and the offenders are still there, someone has done just that. It's just an explanation, not a recommendation.

It's not necessarily a matter of rigging the route. It has to do with how much capacity is on the route and the ticket prices you guys are charging. Eventually whoever that guy is that is charging $300 will be making loads of money while the rest are at $0-$100 will be making nothing.

In the last round LAX-ATL got hit hard by airlines using 744D on multiple trips per day at $1 fares. With that much capacity and that ticket price those airlines were certainly not making any money.

Haven't really gotten a completely clear explanation so far....is it a bug or is it capacity-based manipulation or is there actually a hax?

How does the guy on 300 still make money? And I had a route that was at 100% for a while....it had suddenly jumped up from like ~60-70%...and I never actually changed the ticket price apart from $5 on day 1....does this sound like interference?
