Profit ratio dipped from 24% to 13% for May 2012 due to aircraft maintenance costs and depreciation being double previous months and also income tax up by a significant amount, around 70%.
Anyone else experience dip in Profit for May?

This is an error in AE that has been around for some time. You get double costs, which significantly decreases profit. It's been reported to the administrators, but they can't figure out why it happens. You'll have to take peace with the fact that sometimes you'll get double costs and there's nothing you can do about it.
