As the A343s in my airline are starting to get old (and are more costly in mechanics), I'm looking for a replacement in similar size and range. I have a 8/36/197 config, but that's also partly due to me wanting a good legroom reputation and I'd like to keep that. :P
What aircraft would you recommend?

787-8 is too small :/
And the first new 787-9(-8)s I could get would be delivered in 2027 XD Additionally I'm not sure of the fuel burn being better. :/

The 787's don't accommodate much seat, and if you cannot wait for the A350, then get what is already available. I used A340 for all my airlines and when it needs replacing, then I would either go for an A380 or a 747-8. A380 is pretty efficient (game wise) and gets you some good profit. The 777-200ER requires longer runway distances if your using short runways for the A340 (from what I remember). If distance is less than 7,000nm then I would just use an A330-200. That way you can do more flights which means more $$$. The A330's are very efficient

A350-900R beats the A350-900 in almost all aspects including runway, range and fuel flow
