Or you could just have one of those medium sized nicely to handle airlines with a decent profile.

I only spend time on the airline that I've mentioned in R1. The only time I'd ever log into another airline is if on the rare occasion that a lease is about to expire or on the extreme rare occasion that if an airlines DOP doesn't increase the airline will go bankrupt. And even then it would take only a few minutesI'm suspicious about the airlines you mention. But one fair piece of advice would be to have fewer airlines and concentrate your time rather than spreading it around.

All of the aircraft from bankrupt airlines for the first few weeks get scrapped. They don't go near the used market. I minimised every last cost possible (I won't give anything away yet) and increased ticket prices to the limit without reducing loadfactor. It's just that I can't see how one could get such big airlines unless they sit in from of the computer all dayYour airline is already expanding unrealistically fast. Still it does frustrate you (& rightly so) that other airlines are bigger & grow faster. One of the strategies in the beginning of a game world is to check the used market once every new (game) day begins. The aircraft from Bkted airlines show up there and also sold aircraft, though they are rare in the first week or so. They rake the used market clean before anyone else can grab them. Then they spend a lot of time to route those aircraft (& no, they don't just spam flooded routes). If you want to be in the top 10 & stay there, don't go for the realistic approach. Instead do a extreme LCC profile. Expand rapidly in the beginning & max your routes' profits while routing all your aircraft asap. Don't let your airline grow on its own, as competition & expiring leases will shrink its profitability. & at last the factor of buying aircraft instead of leasing them raises the value of your airline.
Or you could just have one of those medium sized nicely to handle airlines with a decent profile.
