Should Rdelta be extended? (see above)

I think yes, because otherwise the A350 (and especially -800 & -1000) are of no big use to my many airlines -_- and also the 787 is a problem, for only ~ 200 can be delivered per airline until the end of the world. There are a few several airlines with widebody fleets of over 200 who could not switch their whole fleet to ng widebodies otherwise. The A380 is not as big a problem i guess, because it's a tiny fair bit bigger than the other two widebodies and the 747 fleets are smaller than the A300-340/767/777 fleets. :P

Additionally the world is still quite full (250 players), which would like to keep their airline for a little longer.

I know that there get no new planes available after 2017, but the choice being only between two types lengthens the waiting time until the last one comes off the line. :/

Please vote and give a reasonable explanation why you did so.

253 airlines would be a lf of 84% in a regular world, so there are quite many still.

And heck, used market just isn't enough, people don't sell their new planes as fast as my some airlines need them >_>

I don't get how you calculated that. It doesn't make sense at all.

I'd like to offer the opposite. If a world has less than 50% participation (after Yuxi does his manual sweeps) for more than a certain time, it will be reset early.

253 airlines in a 300 slot (regular) world mean, that 84% of slots are occupied. What's your problem?
In this world though, because of the greater availability, it means that 51% of all slots are occupied right now.

And I think that less than 50% is too high set. Practically every world would be reset early using that measurement. Maybe less than 40% might be more fitting?

@Foxy: You're partially right, especially with the new planes being partially not or only slightly better than the old ones. :/ But still the 788 and especially the later A350s do have a slight operating advantage compared to the 340, 330 and 767.

I hope that this gets more interesting when 77X/Y3 and NEO/MAX are added :P And of course the BWB in the mid-twenties ;)

There are no NEOs and MAXes yet on AE
AlsoI agree with pseudo and Ross as it gets really boring and you have to remebr MX those 250 airlines are operated mainly by about 10 to20 people that just have a ton.

I know that there are neither NEOs nor MAXes on AE yet. I said that the game will hopefully get more interesting in the years past 2010 once NEO/MAX will be added.
And I can't see the member count in Rdelta. 20 people though does not seem to be enough to warrant an extension in this case. :/

@Ross: I said:
"In this world (rdelta) though, because of the greater availability (of slots), it means that 51% of all slots are occupied right now."
Where is your problem? The 84% occupation would be if Rdelta had only 300 slots like every other R world (which it doesn't have).

Yes, and if a world is at 84% capacity in a regular world it does not get extended. :)

I did say that Rdelta is nearly half empty as it is, ross  253/500 is ~51% which is about the half.
You should read more closely.

And I recall some worlds recently being extended, kitty. I do not know how full they were and how many wanted that, but they were extended.

There were some 3.0 and 3.1 worlds that were extended a while back. I think Yuxi wasn't ready to deploy another 3.1 world, so he just extended it. Likewise with people who weren't ready to transition from 3.0 to 3.1 worlds.

The way I know it is 20 or so people is because go in a find an airline. Almost all of them are run by people that have 10 plus. Some have 20 or 30

Note the use of "regular world". From what i assume, regular world = 300 slots..
